was just wondering if anyone besides myself ever goes through the "wishing I had done some things differently thing?" I recently saw where the escape tour in "81" went right through my home town and all I was into that year was football and girls.

I read that too, pretty sad. They hit him when he was down. I think it is time he does something. I would pay anything to see him. So what if he can't hit the high notes, I like the way he sounds now. He sounded great to me on Trial by Fire...kinda gravely...I play that one a lot.

I wish when I was speaking to Neal Schon back in 2005 when he said they were touring again, I didnt even ask about Steve Perry.....just assumed he was back. I can understand what poosibley Steve was going through alot when he broke his hip........it is a long rehab process and also depressing to think your body is falling apart. From what I"ve read, the band kind of gave him an ultimatum and Steve just didnt react well to the ultimatum. We just need them to make peace with each other and have Steve Perry come back for one tour......even if he cant hit all the high notes anymore.......I wouldnt mind.

I wish I had went to the Steve Perry fan club weekend thing during his FTLOSM tour. They got to meet and talk to him in person. I am not a fan who would ever bug him on the street, but I would like the chance to say thank you for the great music, and to let him know how much his songs inspire my artwork.

I'm there with you. I've recently been thinking the same thing. I love Journey and have since the first album with Steve Perry came out in '78. Unfortunately, they never came to the city where I lived and although there were several tours in nearby cities, I was always too broke to go. If I could do things differently, I would have borrowed the money and gone!
