i like all kinds of music but with rock i like led zep, aerosmith, doors, beatles, rolling stones and the likes. its only now i came across journey bec what else of ARNEL! i listen to diff discs of journey way back 1975-1986 then 1996. still traces of santana, what else, with neal and greg, on keyboard and guitar. greg, i think he sung blk magic woman. wonderful voice. if ur music way back 1975-78 be re incarnated today u can beat foo fighters.they are timeless, classics. after 1978 of course steve perry era. bet greg and steve i am for greg he sounds more rock than steve. of course thats why ur pop-rock, steve sounds more pop to me.
some commented that journey now sings on b stage. i dont care much u guys can sing even on z stage as long as still able bodied, talented n people still want to hear fr u.after steve u have augeri and jss. both are great voices but i think not much into live performances. quite weak, tires easily esp jss, who even lets audience sing for him.maybe just good enough to fill the vacuum.arnel is power all power. if the songs are good n luck on ur side, u can regain popularity worldwide.if not, doesnt matter. frankly, 20 yrs ago ur famous but not as phenomenal as some brits rock bank dat invaded us rock scene.as for awards, dont expect much. there are many talents in the us been der for decades but no awards still. der are those who win but not really deserving.so lets hope arnel gets his dream in the us mainstream music. thanks neal for choosing him. he wont disappoint u.pls treat him well esp on the financial side.whatever he ends up with, one thing is in the history, he gets to be lined up with the likes of neal, steve, greg and other greats in ur band.thats what u call accomplishment.
