Good Morning Everyone!

Just wanted to follow the rules of the forum and introduce myself...

My name is 'Ryan Christopher' and I'm a 32 year old lead vocalist who is slowly, but surely breaking through barriers to achieve professional success in the music industry. JOURNEY is my favorite band, especially the Steve Perry era, although I do listen to MANY forms of music from Classic Rock/Arena Rock to Metal/Hevy Metal to R&B/Pop/Soul to Classical and yes, even Country music from time to time... Smiling

You can check out my Myspace page and listen to some of my Journey covers (part of my current demo)...

www.myspace.com/ryanchristopher726

Anyway...

That's me, anyone else like to introduce themselves?

My cousin and I are huge fans our ring tones are journey songs most people think were crazy but just dedicated fans of great music. We just got some leeds festival tickets for this summer probably will jump from concert to concert through the next few months.

Hi, I'm goober.

The guys are all excited again about their new vocalist and the promise of a new album with new material is something to look forward to. Journey has such a mixed fan base with so many different vocalists fans for the guys in the band. Now Arnel will bring a whole new demographic to the fan base. Ought to be interesting.

"Long Live Classic Journey" Some Journey's are worth remembering!

Hello,
Did you ever belong to the Journey force? I was trying to find some of my old friends, or people who remember those fun days.

Jacob's song is Lights
Kyra loves Anyway you want it
Avery lives Walks like a lady

They like the classics just like me.........Well new lead singer, maybe a new direction, but I will always go to the shows..........Just pray that it is Perry that Neil announces as the new, old lead singer.....

God Bless and Merry Christmas

Hi, I'm Paula

I live now in Louisiana, but from California by birth. I first heard Journey when I was 11 my first album was Infinity, gosh that does age both myself and the guys doesn't it? Well, with age comes wisdom I guess. I absolutely love Journey, (like so many others, I love the Perry, Cain, Schon, Smith, Vallory era.) They rock, they are individually the best talents in their specific areas, and together, they are beyond comparing. I drive my kids nuts with Journey, I'm surprised they didn't come into birth singing Journey. I was blessed that my x was accepting of my love. I would never date anyone who didn't like Journey, because it's such a part of my current life and my history. Journey has been the one constant with me through the good and the bad, the exciting and the boring. I know I'm nuts but I could think of many worse things to be nuts about. My favorite song, (or songs) is LIGHTS, but the way Steve Smith blends it into Stay Awhile with just two strokes of his drums is awesome, so is it one song or two? Just kidding, but the blend of the two is what I listen to most, every sunday while getting ready for church every night at bedtime, in the car, etc. Anyway, I am a mom of two boys, ages 10 and 17 and I absolutely love photography. I love capturing today's memories, visions, and experiences on film. I Love nature and animals. My dream job would be to travel this awesome country we live in photographing the people, places, events, and everyday things that make America great. I am not a professional by any means but I'm not so bad if I do say so myself. I'm a housekeeper by day, but only because I have kids to support and I'm too afraid to take that step of faith it would take to do anything else. Maybe one day, I hope, I will be brave enough to follow my dreams. I'm a great combination of girly-tomboy. I can look cute as well as I can get dirty grungy chasing lizards with my 10 year old. ( is that a bit conceded?) I loathe dishonesty, I love thoughtfulness. I am wonderfully flawed, as I'm sure most of you are also. I do love lots of music other than Journey everything from ABBA to ZZ TOP (except maybe rap and such, sorry), My favorite time in life is now. I love to be silly. I love to make people laugh. I appreciate true friendship, even when it's not all good. I appreciate loyalty. I think people should search their dreams and try to follow them if they ever get a chance. My motto for life is " it's the GOOD and BAD in life that makes you who you are, appreciate them both and learn from them"

Sorry if I jabbered on and gave you TMI, but that's me in a nutshell. (pretty big shell huh?)
I hope I made someone smile today.

Hi... My name is Terrie, from Arizona.

I have been to every local Journey concert since 1980. Smiling
I still have the concert tickets from the sold out shows here in 1981.
They sold out the first concert, then decided that the next night would be another concert, sold that one out and did a 3rd night...sold out, if I remember right...
It was awesome!!! No one does that anymore... well except Garth Brooks did, about 10 years ago...and I was there for that too! I love all kinds of music...even "some" rap. LOL Laughing out loud

I love Journey and will support whatever they do regarding their lead singer.Smiling

My all-time favorite album is Evolution...all the albums in the early 80's used to be our "cruisin' songs". We used to cruise Central and Metro Center...
(if you're an AZ Native like I am...you'll know what I am talking about)
One of my all-time favorite songs is "Daydream". On the Evolution album, and it's NEVER on the playlist or played at any concert...at least here in AZ. Smiling

My son is 21, and he too likes Journey... ("Generations" ya know!!!)
he doesn't love'em like I do...but we went to a concert together a couple years ago and had fun!!! Eye-wink
He knows that he can always make me happy buying me a Journey CD or something to do with Journey for Birthday or Christmas.Laughing out loud
(Just got my cassette tape of "Escape" replaced by a CD for my birthday)

Nice to meet you all! Smiling
