journey!!!
i believe that Journey is the best band on the world. even though i am 14, and all my freinds hate the music i like, i could care less. the stuff you guys make is "MUSIC."
i appreciate your band very much.but i am very dissapointed about your choise on leaving Steve Perry for an Phillipean man(not being races) that sound a little like him and, puts his own kick on things. i have listens to him on youtube, the place sunday moring said you found him, but i believe he sounds barely anthing like him. music is a part of my everyday life, i cannot live without it. i dont think you left Perry just because of just a hip replacement, but i cannot be sure. but, i hope you guys get back together and maybe come over to atlanta, please, its really boring here. cya

Just about all the recorded materials by the band from all their stages, pre,during and post Steve Perry, are available to be had, and listened to ad infinitum by any fans. Take your pick and please enjoy your chosen era of the band. To continually lament about Steve P.'s absence ( and long for his come back ), makes it really difficult to appreciate the other lead vocalist who had stepped up on the plate, and any new materials that they put out as a band. The fact that they continue to exist and make music is a wonderful thing. It takes a small paradigm shift to accept that you don't have to be an anglo saxon to sing for a band like Journey. I wonder how some fans took it when Randy Jackson toured with the group. Music is sound track to our life experiences. Feel free to replay all the Steve P. materials as you like. I do hope that you could freshen your perspective of this new edition of Journey by reassuring yourself that none of your favorite Steve P. was taken away by their new lead singer" ( i am very dissapointed about your choise on leaving Steve Perry for an Phillipean man(not being races) ".

I wish Steve was the lead singer again too. I hate for your generation that you have missed out on the incredible shows he used to give us. Steve will probably never sing for them again, they have said and done too much to hurt each other through the years. I wish I understood why this happens to such wonderful bands, but it does. Arnel is very lucky to get the job. Please do not have any hard feelings towards him. He was also a fan of Steve's or he would not have worked so hard to sound like him. I just hope now Steve will go out and do a solo album and carry on. I also hope that even if these guys can't get along any more, that they will stop attacking each other publicly. Maybe even some day find a place in their heart to forgive each other. They don't realize how phenominal they would have been, if they had tried to be more patient, forgiving, and understanding of one anouther, and put their egos on a shelf. Hang in there.
